Job summary

Staffmark in Cincinnati, OH is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to lead and develop a team of maintenance technicians. The role requires overseeing HVAC, electrical, plumbing and preventive maintenance, coordinating service requests, and ensuring resident satisfaction.

This direct-hire position offers a 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $30.00–$35.00 per hour. Prior supervisory experience and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• HVAC certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation with proof of insurance required for travel to and from assigned property locations.
• 2–5 years of apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, or property management maintenance experience required.
• Experience supervising, training, and managing maintenance technicians.
• Experience working with vendors, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Knowledge of budgeting, purchase orders, inventory management, and maintenance software such as Entrata, Yardi, or similar property management systems.
• Strong experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, and preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule, and oversee maintenance technicians while ensuring exceptional resident satisfaction, customer service, and team performance.
• Manage and perform maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, appliances, roofing, flooring, doors, windows, lighting, irrigation systems, and other property assets.
• Coordinate resident service requests, make-ready activities, grounds maintenance, inventory control, shop organization, and property curb appeal initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, preventive maintenance schedules, budgets, purchase orders, and compliance documentation within property management software.
• Develop vendor relationships, obtain and review bids, oversee contractor work, monitor service agreements, and ensure all work meets company quality, safety, and operational standards.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to participate in on‑call rotations and respond to after‑hours maintenance emergencies when required.
