Job summary

Otis is seeking a passionate leader to manage and train field staff, overseeing day-to-day operations in the Chicago territory. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction, reporting to the Senior Manager, Service Sales and Ops.

Responsibilities include planning field activities, resource allocation, and educating the workforce while driving improvements in efficiency and communication across the service operations team.

Qualifications

• High school education required; BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience working with a team of technicians is required.
• Leadership experience is required.
• Travel is required within your territory; driver’s license as required for your territory
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in a team-oriented environment
• Elevator industry experience is desired, but not required
• Authorization to work in the U.S. now and in the future without sponsorship.

About the Role

Otis Elevator is seeking a passionate and driven individual to join and lead our maintenance operations and help us continue to provide exceptional service to our customers. The main goal of the role is to provide day-to-day management and training of field staff, including employee selection and development, field training, and safety. This individual will also lead operational efforts, managing costs while ensuring superior customer satisfaction. You will report to Senior Manager, Service Sales and Ops in the Chicago territory.

Salary

Salary Transparency: The salary range for this role is $130,000 to $165,000. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future. Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
