Responsibilities

  • Provides technical supervision and training for maintenance and manufacturing personnel.
  • Interprets manuals, specifications, blueprints and schematics.
  • Guides and shares knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining and fabrication.
  • Assigns and supervises daily work schedules for department personnel.
  • Manages preventive maintenance programs and tracks results.
  • Oversees procurement of repair and maintenance goods and services.
  • Directly supervises overhaul department staff; trains, plans, assigns, and evaluates performance.
  • Responds to on- and off-hour emergencies including repairs and damage control.
  • Maintains quality standards and ensures safe, clean, organized work areas.

Division Overview

Crown's Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans. With a large printable surface area and a wide range of sizes, shapes and decorating options, our aluminum cans are the perfect packaging format to create compelling brand presence where it counts. Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides technical support by training and troubleshooting to maintenance and manufacturing personnel. Ensures that all department safety practices are followed. Maintained good employee relations.
  • Interprets operational manuals, manufacturer's specifications, blueprints and schematics for manufacturing.
  • Provides guidance and shares knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining and fabrication.
  • Assigns and supervisors daily work schedule of all department personnel.
  • Manages and initiates PM program and track results
  • Manages procurement activity of repair and maintenance goods and services
  • Directly supervise all employees in overhaul department. Responsible for training, planning, assigning, checking and directing work; Appraising performance, addressing complaints, resolving problems; establishing standards of performance;
  • Provides on and off-hour emergency response including; equipment repair, damage control, and assignment of support personnel as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining quality standards
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, etc.
  • Keeps area safe, clean and organized
  • Perform other related duties as required
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years' knowledge of manufacturing methods and techniques. Background in recognized trade. Minimum 5-7 years of work-related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Good oral and written communications skills. Good record keeping skills. Good listening skills. Ability to understand and speak basic English. Attention to detail, thoroughness, organization, PC Proficiency, Data Entry Skills, General Math Skills.
