Job summary

Crown Cork & Seal USA, Inc. in Cheraw, SC is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the plant's maintenance and reliability program, supervising technicians, coordinating preventive maintenance, and ensuring safe operations.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of manufacturing experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to uphold quality standards across shifts.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years’ knowledge of manufacturing methods and techniques.
  • Background in recognized trade.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of work-related experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.
  • Good record keeping skills.
  • Good listening skills.
  • Ability to understand and speak basic English.

Responsibilities

  • Provides technical support by training and troubleshooting to maintenance and manufacturing personnel.
  • Ensures that all department safety practices are followed.
  • Maintained good employee relations.
  • Interprets operational manuals, manufacturer’s specifications, blueprints and schematics for manufacturing.
  • Provides guidance and shares knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, machining and fabrication.
  • Assigns and supervises daily work schedule of all department personnel.
  • Manages and initiates PM program and track results
  • Manages procurement activity of repair and maintenance goods and services
  • Directly supervise all employees in overhaul department.
  • Responsible for training, planning, assigning, checking and directing work; Appraising performance, addressing complaints, resolving problems; establishing standards of performance;
  • Provides on and off-hour emergency response including; equipment repair, damage control, and assignment of support personnel as needed
  • Responsible for maintaining quality standards
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, etc.
  • Keeps area safe, clean and organized
  • Perform other related duties as required

Division Overview

Crown’s Beverage Division manufactures a variety of packaging solutions for soft drinks, craft beers, coffees, and teas as well as new energy drinks. Crown Beverage leads the packaging industry with innovative technologies that redefine how the world looks at beverage cans. Duties and Responsibilities
