Job summary

Envolve Community Management LLC is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for an apartment community in Chattanooga, TN. The role requires HVAC certification, leadership of a maintenance team, and oversight of repairs including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry to ensure top-quality resident service.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of maintenance supervision experience, HUD/Tax Credit inspection familiarity, reliable transportation, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call

Qualifications

• HVAC licensed and able to perform or supervise repairs.
• 5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in multifamily properties.
• Experience with HUD/Tax Credit inspections preferred.
• Strong leadership and customer-service focus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise maintenance staff to complete work orders promptly.
• Review parts, schedule services, and coordinate contractor work as needed.
• Perform or oversee A/C, heating, plumbing, electrical and carpentry repairs.
• Maintain safety standards and ensure on-call coverage when required.

Job description

Envolve Community Management LLC owns and professionally manages apartment communities located in select markets throughout the southeastern United States.

Currently, Envolve is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at one of our apartment communities in Chattanooga, TN.

The Maintenance Supervisor needs to be HVAC Certified. This individual must have a strong background in multifamily properties with experience to include HVAC, appliance, plumbing, electrical, HUD/Tax Credit inspections and carpentry. The Maintenance Supervisor must have experience leading a maintenance team. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.

Duties

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for directing other staff members. Delegating assignments if needed to assure all work orders are completed in a timely manner. Review and order parts or schedule services needed to complete resident work order repairs. Some duties will include wall repairs, A/C and Heating repairs, doors, cabinets and closets. This position requires a working supervisor. Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience with HUD/Tax Credit inspections preferred.
• High Rise with system experience.
• Must have at least 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience.
• HVAC licensed.
• Available to work overtime.
• Must have own hand tools and any specialized tools for HVAC, plumbing & electrical.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.
• Must be able to accommodate emergency on-call schedule if requested.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Must have a valid Driver's License,
• Background Screening and Drug Test Required
