Job summary

Envolve Community Management LLC in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for one of its apartment communities. The role requires HVAC certification and a proven background in multifamily properties, including HVAC, appliance, plumbing, electrical, HUD/Tax Credit inspections, and carpentry.

The supervisor will lead a maintenance team, direct staff, prioritize work orders, and coordinate parts and services.

Qualifications

• HVAC certification required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience.
• Experience with multifamily properties and HUD/Tax Credit inspections preferred.
• High Rise building experience is a plus.
• Must have own hand tools and specialized tools for HVAC, plumbing & electrical.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise maintenance staff; delegate assignments to complete work orders timely.
• Review parts and schedule services required to complete resident repairs.
• Perform/oversee HVAC, A/C and heating repairs; door, cabinet and wall repairs as needed.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-call readiness; enforce maintenance standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by property management.

Currently, Envolve is searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at one of our apartment communities in Chattanooga, TN.

The Maintenance Supervisor needs to be HVAC Certified. This individual must have a strong background in multifamily properties with experience to include HVAC, appliance, plumbing, electrical, HUD/Tax Credit inspections and carpentry. The Maintenance Supervisor must have experience leading a maintenance team. A commitment to exceptional customer service is critical.

Duties

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for directing other staff members. Delegating assignments if needed to assure all work orders are completed in a timely manner. Review and order parts or schedule services needed to complete resident work order repairs. Some duties will include wall repairs, A/C and Heating repairs, doors, cabinets and closets. This position requires a working supervisor. Complete other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Experience with HUD/Tax Credit inspections preferred.
• High Rise with system experience.
• Must have at least 5 years of maintenance supervisory experience.
• HVAC licensed.
• Available to work overtime.
• Must have own hand tools and any specialized tools for HVAC, plumbing & electrical.
• Must be able to move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.
• Must be able to accommodate emergency on-call schedule if requested.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. Must have a valid Driver's License,
• Background Screening and Drug Test Required
