Job summary

Envolve Community Management seeks a Maintenance Supervisor for Lower Hunter Trace in Louisville, KY. This role oversees all facility and maintenance operations at the property.

You will perform on-site repairs on HVAC, appliances, water heaters, electrical and plumbing, conduct preventive maintenance, winterize facilities, and provide training to other maintenance staff. Required: 5–10 years of maintenance experience, HVAC certification, valid driver’s license, and previous multifamily

Position Overview

We are searching for a Maintenance Supervisor to work at Lower Hunter Trace. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of facility and maintenance equipment, including scheduled maintenance and repair of apartment appliances, HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and special equipment. The candidate must be experienced and knowledgeable about maintenance assigned to the property and must conduct maintenance training for other assigned personnel.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance training for others assigned to the property.
• Perform on-site basic repairs including HVAC systems, appliances, water heaters, facility electrical systems, plumbing, and other special equipment.
• Be available for emergency maintenance calls 24 hours a day when scheduled.
• Perform minor carpentry duties.
• Perform preventive maintenance to include winterizing facilities to prevent minimum freeze damage during cold weather.
• Make periodic inspections of HVAC systems.
• Winterize swimming pool equipment and systems.
• Clean the swimming pool and maintain the proper chemical balance during the swimming season.
• Train other Envolve maintenance personnel in trouble shooting and repairs and inspect the quality of their work.
• Record maintenance requests, respond to them, use proper forms, and maintain inventory of parts.
• Move heavy equipment safely, using proper equipment.

Education and Work Experience Requirements

• Five (5) to ten (10) years of maintenance experience.
• HVAC certification required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Previous multifamily experience.
