Job summary

Princeton Management in Canton Township, MI is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the apartment maintenance team and ensure timely, high-quality repairs across the property. You will supervise technicians, coordinate requests, and mentor staff while upholding safety and company standards.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in apartment maintenance, with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
• Proven experience supervising maintenance staff.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, including technicians, groundskeepers, and other staff members as deemed necessary.
• Work hands on with staff in all areas of the maintenance responsibilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of apartments, common areas, and amenities to identify and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
• Coordinate and prioritize maintenance requests, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
• Order and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with property manager to address resident concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Implement and enforce safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
