Job summary

Princeton Management in Detroit is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the apartment maintenance team, perform hands-on repairs, and ensure high standards of safety and resident satisfaction.

You will inspect units and common areas, prioritize requests, train staff, and collaborate with the property manager to maintain a safe, well-maintained community.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in apartment maintenance.
  • Proven experience supervising and leading a maintenance team.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate with residents, staff, and management.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (HVAC, plumbing) will be an advantage.

Description

The Maintenance Supervisor adds value to the community by ensuring identification and completion of daily general apartment maintenance duties, developing and upholding company standards, and ensuring all tasks are performed in the utmost professional manner.
