Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to plan, lead, and optimize maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. You will drive preventive and corrective maintenance, manage spare parts, and ensure equipment reliability while aligning with production schedules and quality standards.

The role requires experience supervising maintenance teams, knowledge of OSHA safety requirements, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills to thrive in a fast-paced plant setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade education preferred.
  • At least 1 year of manufacturing experience with maintenance or technical operations.
  • Experience supervising maintenance activities in an industrial setting.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop maintenance teams.
  • Experience with maintenance systems, reliability practices, and documentation.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations, OSHA requirements, permits to work, risk assessments, contractor management.
  • Strong organizational, planning and problem-solving in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, prioritize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime and ensure rapid response to breakdowns.
  • Lead and coordinate daily maintenance operations by setting schedules, assigning work, and driving the team to meet performance and reliability targets.
  • Manage spare parts inventory, including tracking, ordering, and ensuring availability of critical components.
  • Maintain accurate equipment records, technical documentation, and manuals while supporting new equipment installations and capital projects.
  • Collaborate with production to align maintenance activities with schedules, ensuring consistent achievement of quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Lead, train, and develop maintenance personnel to improve troubleshooting capability, efficiency, and overall team performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement, safety compliance, and cross-functional problem solving by partnering with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing to reduce defects, optimize processes, and maintain regulatory standards.

  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced production environment.
