Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in steel manufacturing.
• 2+ years of supervisory experience leading a maintenance team.
• Associate degree or technical certification in industrial maintenance or related field.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
• Familiarity with CMMS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong commitment to safety and OSHA standards.

• Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance technicians to support efficient daily operations
• Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of plant equipment, including mills, welders, cutting systems, and material handling equipment
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production disruptions, coordinating emergency repairs
• Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement of required components
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reliability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
• Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, equipment history, and compliance records
• Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to support seamless operations
