Job summary

Wheatland Tube, LLC in Blytheville, AR, part of Zekelman Industries, is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead safe, efficient operations and develop a high-performing team on the plant floor.

You will oversee daily schedules, quality checks, training, inventory accuracy, and collaboration with Quality to meet production goals and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in management.
• Familiar with MES and SAP systems; MS Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Leads and promotes safe work practices in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Performs regular quality checks on production processes and equipment to ensure customer and quality requirements are met.
• Develops and manages daily work schedules to achieve production goals and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Delegates responsibilities and monitors team performance to ensure operational success.
• Provides training, cross-training, evaluations, and corrective actions to support employee growth and accountability.
• Monitors and supervises cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Generates and reviews daily operation reports to ensure smooth shift transitions and address production issues.
• Identifies and escalates maintenance concerns to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability.
• Collaborates with the Quality Department to uphold and improve quality standards.
• Develops and executes action plans to enhance plant performance and meet key objectives.
• Documents safety incidents, recommends improvements, and implements corrective actions to reinforce a culture of safety.
• Hires, coaches, and evaluates employees while promoting a positive and productive work environment.
