Job summary

HYDAC is a family-owned company providing a broad range of products and services. The Maintenance Supervisor will lead the facilities maintenance team at the Bethlehem site, overseeing production support, PM programs, and safety compliance.

You will utilize CMMS for work orders, manage budgets with the Facilities Manager, and coordinate with accounting on invoices while developing strong vendor relationships and ensuring training and compliance across the team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise maintenance staff and conduct yearly reviews.
• Develop daily work schedules and yearly goals.
• Maintain Preventive Maintenance program and CMMS usage.
• Manage equipment moves and utility relocations.
• Ensure staff training and safety compliance.
• Assist Facilities Manager with budget and invoice processing.
• Develop vendor/contractor relationships and supervise repairs.
• Support OPEX and safety initiatives.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the facilities maintenance department. This position will supervise the maintenance staff with responsibility for the production.

You will make an impact in this role by:

• Directly supervise mechanics and accomplish yearly reviews.
• Develop daily work schedules and establish yearly goals.
• Develop and keep current the Preventative Maintenance program.
• Utilize the computerized maintenance management program (CMMS) for work order management, inventory tracking, equipment trends, and personnel utilization.
• Manage equipment moves and the relocation of utilities.
• Ensure employees accomplish their required training.
• Order parts as needed and document in the CMMS.
• Provide input to the Facilities Manager for the annual budget.
• Work with the accounting department to properly classify and process invoices.
• Develop vendor and contractor relationships.
• Troubleshoot or aid in the repairs of equipment.
• Support the safety program and ensure compliance with applicable policies and codes.
• Support OPEX activities as required.

The supervisor will function as a backup to the Facilities Manager on facilities related issues. This individual will become familiar with the following information for all Bethlehem facilities:

• Electrical services and locations of the major components at each facility
• Plumbing locations for the water and sewer
• Access control
• Roof repairs
• HVAC PM schedules and equipment repairs
• IT related requirements
• Contracts for landscaping, snow removal, HVAC PMs, and compressors
• Annual fire and crane inspections

Requirements

To be considered for the Maintenance Supervisor role, you must have the following minimum qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, mechanical systems, electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
