Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and driven Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Maintenance team within a high-performance polyethylene packaging facility. This individual will oversee a team of 6–10 maintenance technicians, ensuring all equipment is maintained to optimal standards. The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of packaging industry experience, with deep knowledge of electrical systems, rotating equipment, instrumentation, and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the Maintenance Department, managing a team of 6–10 employees.
• Lead and execute maintenance strategies including preventive, current, shutdown, and project-based maintenance.
• Maintain and improve the reliability and performance of all packaging equipment, focusing on W&H, Beumer, and Aventus systems.
• Implement and uphold safety standards in line with industry and OSHA regulations within a warehouse environment.
• Oversee quality systems related to maintenance.
• Ensure effective troubleshooting, problem solving, and conflict resolution within the department.
• Maintain a robust spare parts program to minimize equipment downtime.
• Utilize IT tools including Excel, Word, and data analysis software to track maintenance metrics, costs, and project timelines.
• Manage and report on project timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Collaborate with Operations leadership to align maintenance efforts with production goals.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in the packaging industry, with expertise in polyethylene packaging operations.
• Strong technical background in:
• Proven leadership skills with a track record of team management, coaching, and development.
• High level of proficiency in:
• Familiarity with W&H, Beumer, and Aventus equipment is strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
