Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.
Primary Functions:
Essential Functions:
Safety
• Attend and perform all EHS training assigned.
• Promote MESH processes, standards, and policies to all employees under supervision.
• Provide resources needed to ensure all MESH policies and procedures are performed by all personnel under supervision.
• Actively participate in Work Risk Assessments/MIL’s Analysis and timely resolution of safety corrective actions.
• Ensure all equipment and machinery comply with local and federal regulations.
Quality
• Comply with all operational procedures to meet applicable Quality System regulations.
• Use Problem Solving tools (Six Sigma, 8D, and 5 Why’s) to resolve quality issues and establish systems to improve downtime, reduce scrap, and minimize rework.
Delivery
• Interface with internal business partners to understand their needs related to technology, product reviews, performance objectives, and delivery schedules.
Inventory
• Collaborate with SCM, CI, OPEX, Technical Service, Quality, HR, and Finance Teams to optimize operational efficiency.
Productivity
• Execute Continuous Improvement tools and lead Tier 2 meetings.
• Plan and support procedures and budgets. Make budgetary recommendations on monthly expenses and capital expenditures.
• Monitor and control Overtime expenses and absenteeism issues.
Other: Builds Organizational Capability
• Implement strategic and tactical operational activities.
• Select and develop personnel to ensure efficient operation.
• Ensure proactive engagement within other Teams to support business continuity and continuous improvement.
Specialized Knowledge:
• Required Business in Engineering, Sciences, Business Administration, Psychology, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a supervisor, coordinator, or project leader.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Proven Experience:
• High background in maintenance of equipment and machinery.
• Good understanding of power distribution components and systems (arc flash).
• Knowledge of electronics, motors, and other maintenance-related topics.
• Computer literate; knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, and other EMS software.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations, EPA regulations, and other local or federal agencies.
