Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is partnering with a well-established food & beverage manufacturer to hire a Maintenance Supervisor for a large, high-volume facility in the Akron area. This hands-on leadership role focuses on preventive maintenance, equipment reliability, and developing the maintenance team in a 24/7, multi-shift environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance in large-scale food & beverage or high-speed manufacturing.
• Strong preventive and predictive maintenance background.

• Experience with PLCs, automation, conveyors, packaging, processing, and material handling.

Maintenance Supervisor — 3rd Shift

Location: Akron, OH area

We are partnering with a well-established food & beverage manufacturer to hire an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for a large, high-volume manufacturing facility. This is an opportunity for a strong maintenance leader to step into a highly visible role and make an immediate impact on preventive maintenance, team development, equipment reliability, and overall maintenance execution.

What we’re looking for

• Maintenance leadership experience within a large-scale food & beverage or high-speed consumer products manufacturing facility
• Strong preventive and predictive maintenance background with the ability to build a more proactive maintenance culture
• Proven ability to develop, train, and hold maintenance teams accountable
• Experience improving equipment reliability, uptime, PM compliance, and maintenance execution
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge involving PLCs, automation, conveyors, packaging, processing, and material handling equipment
• Experience leading maintenance teams in a 24/7, multi-shift operation
• A strong sense of urgency and experience supporting a high-volume, customer-facing manufacturing environment
