The Dolben Company is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Acton, MA to oversee all maintenance operations for a 230-unit community. You will lead the maintenance team, schedule and complete work orders, manage make-readies, and supervise safety and budgets to maintain curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

You will ensure preventative maintenance, oversee renovations, respond to emergencies, and collaborate with the property management team to uphold high standards of maintenance and service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience with 1–2 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair.
• Knowledge of construction, renovation and project management.
• Leadership skills with ability to supervise, train and motivate maintenance team.
• Understanding of OSHA standards and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Availability for emergency situations at the property, including an on-call rotation.
• Personal, reliable transportation to get to work and respond to on-call emergencies.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using various software, apps and computer programs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for maintaining this apartment community with 230 apartment homes in Acton, MA. The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of the physical maintenance of the property. This includes maximizing the value of the property with systemized operations, maintaining a first-class property with curb appeal, creating a safe environment for our residents & employees, maintaining & servicing all equipment and providing excellent, 24-hour maintenance service. We expect the Maintenance Supervisor to assist in overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, preventative maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects while being consistent with the goals & objectives of the company. In addition, this individual is responsible for enforcing staff compliance with company policies and procedures to all of the maintenance team. This individual works in conjunction with the property management team to ensure the highest standards of property maintenance and resident satisfaction.

As a Maintenance Supervisor (MS), your primary responsibilities include:

• Overseeing all aspects of physical maintenance operations at the property
• Supervising and leading the maintenance team while enforcing company policies and procedures

What You Bring to Us:

• Competitive salary compensation. Hourly Pay Range:$39-$41. Compensation levels are determined in accordance with the employee’s qualifications and experience.
