Job summary
Smurfit Westrock is seeking a Maintenance Superintendent in Alabama to oversee safety, environmental quality, productivity and cost control of the maintenance function. You will drive asset strategies, KPI monitoring, and cost reporting while leading planning and shutdown activities in a manufacturing setting.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Engineering with maintenance experience and a track record in industrial maintenance management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with 5 years maintenance experience.
- Required: 5 years experience in industrial maintenance.
- Preferred: 5+ years maintenance management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee safety, environmental quality and cost management for maintenance.
- Monitor KPI performance and adhere to work management processes.
- Lead planning, scheduling and execution of routine and shutdown maintenance.
- Develop asset strategies to improve reliability and reduce downtime.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and cost reporting for maintenance activities.
- Mentor and onboard maintenance personnel and drive continuous improvement.
