Job summary

ADM in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Maintenance Superintendent to oversee facility assets and optimize uptime. The role reports to Plant Manager for daily execution and to RCM Regional Manager for asset strategy, with emphasis on proactive maintenance, budgeting, and parts management.

The incumbent will drive safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement, leading a team to sustain equipment reliability and meet production goals in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Engineering qualification with electrical/mechanical knowledge or related field.
• Experience leading Reliability Centered Maintenance processes.
• Strong background in food, feed or chemical production environments.
• Experience supervising maintenance with safety, health, quality and project oversight.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety policies are understood and followed by ADM personnel and contractors.
• Set goals and drive maintenance team performance.
• Develop and manage preventive maintenance and reliability programs.
• Coordinate maintenance with production schedules and CMMS records.
• Manage maintenance budgets and oversee root-cause analysis and countermeasures.
• Lead staff training on operations, lubrication, diagnostics, and standards.
• Oversee storeroom and spare parts inventory and vendor relationships.
• Develop asset reliability strategies and manage ongoing improvement projects.
