Qualifications

• 2 years supervisory experience in manufacturing or military environment.
• 2 years of maintenance scheduling/planning experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Basic mechanical knowledge and welding/cutting experience.
• Ability to read structural blueprints and hydraulic schematics.
• Precision maintenance experience (laser alignment, belt/chain tension, torque specs).
• Willingness to adhere to safety rules and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Lead plywood maintenance team in a SIF‑free, continuous manufacturing environment.
• Supervise/coordinate maintenance to improve EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs.
• Support production processes to align and optimize manufacturing value.
• Facilitate team development and problem solving.
• Promote safety and accountability to identify hazards and mitigate risks.
• Monitor craft quality and guide crew members for efficiency.
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues.
• Provide safety training to crew members.
• Data entry and reporting duties.
• Align contractors with GP maintenance standards on projects, repairs, and upgrades.

The ideal candidate will be a self‑driven individual with a passion for excellence in safety, manufacturing, and customer focus. What You Will Do

• Lead a plywood maintenance team to safely work in a SIF‑free, continuous manufacturing environment consistent with our PBM® Philosophy while meeting facility goals and vision.
• Supervise/coordinate maintenance efforts that drive improvement in all associated work processes affecting EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production, and costs
• Support the production processes to align and optimize the manufacturing enterprise in delivering value to the business
• Facilitate team development and growth, employee skill development, as well as problem‑solving and resolution
• Drive safety excellence and compliance through promoting employee involvement, ownership, and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement the appropriate mitigating strategies based on the risk involved
• Monitor the quality of craft work and provide direction to crew members to maximize efficiency
• Assist with troubleshooting production issues
• Provide safety training to crew members
• Data entry and completing/generating reports
• Align contractors with GP maintenance standards, manage as needed on projects, repairs and upgrades

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• 2 years of supervisory experience preferably in a manufacturing environment or a military environment
• 2 years of prior maintenance scheduling/planning experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge and experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
• Basic mechanical knowledge, Welding/cutting experience, chain repair, hydraulic system repair/rebuild, Ability to read structural blueprints and hydraulic schematics
• Precision maintenance experience & training (laser alignment, belt/chain tension, torque specs, etc.)
• Must be willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations including wearing safety equipment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing operations equipment for mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues
• Experience within the Plywood industry
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing mobile equipment, and operating
• Machine shop (tool and die) and fabrication experience
• Industrial maintenance, engineering degree or related certificates
