Job summary

Oshkosh Community Young Mens Christian Assn Inc seeks a reliable facilities maintenance worker to support building and grounds upkeep. The role covers HVAC care, pool systems, landscaping, basic carpentry, plumbing, electrical tasks, and seasonal snow removal.

The successful candidate will perform routine maintenance, assist the Property Manager, and maintain cleanliness in ice arena and locker rooms, gardens, and entrances, contributing to a safe, well-kept facility.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance may be preferred.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks including HVAC and plumbing.
• Familiarity with lawn care, snow removal, and janitorial duties is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists Property with maintenance of building and grounds.
• Cleaning and maintaining HVAC units, filters, belts, sheaves.
• Maintaining pool filters, pumps, heaters, chemical balance, and plumbing.
• Grass cutting, irrigation, fertilizing, and aeration.
• Light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry work.
• Sidewalk snow removal.
• Mechanical repairs of lawn maintenance equipment, ice resurfacing machine, chain saw, etc.
• Responsible for grass cutting and trimming.
• Janitorial services of ice arena and locker rooms.
• Maintain flowers and shrubs.
• Help with snow blowing and shoveling.
• Other small maintenance tasks as assigned by Property Manager.
