Job summary

Oshkosh Community YMCA is seeking a Facilities Maintenance worker to support the Property team in maintaining the building and grounds. Responsibilities include cleaning HVAC units, pool filters, and related equipment to ensure safe operation.

The role covers grass cutting, snow removal, janitorial services for the ice arena and locker rooms, plantings, landscaping, and assistance with minor carpentry, plumbing and electrical tasks as needed by the Property Manager.

• Assist Property with maintenance of building and grounds, including cleaning HVAC units and pool equipment.
• Perform grass cutting, snow removal, janitorial tasks, and light carpentry/plumbing/electrical work.

Job description

Assists Property with maintenance of building and grounds. Duties include, but not limited to: Cleaning and maintaining HVAC units, filters, belts, sheaves. Maintaining pool filters, pumps, heaters, chemical balance, and plumbing. Grass cutting, irrigation, fertilizing, and aeration. Light carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and masonry work. Sidewalk snow removal. Mechanical repairs of lawn maintenance equipment, ice resurfacing machine, chain saw, etc.

Responsible for grass cutting and trimming. Janitorial services of ice arena and locker rooms. Maintain flowers and shrubs. Help with snow blowing and shoveling. Other small maintenance tasks as assigned by Property Manager.
