Job summary

Crane Currency in Nashua, NH is seeking Maintenance Technicians to support the reliability of manufacturing equipment and facility operations. You will perform preventive maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and repair in a fast-paced production setting.

You will work with experienced technicians to keep production safe and efficient, while developing technical skills. This is a hands-on, long-term role with competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or commensurate experience.
  • 2–5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or mechanical field.
  • Ability to perform physical demands and read/write records.
  • U.S. Citizen eligible for Public Trust per government contract requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Install, modify, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and machinery.
  • Minimize machine downtime through proactive and reactive maintenance.
  • Maintain facility grounds and equipment in a safe, efficient condition.
  • Perform preventive maintenance tasks with production and engineering teams.
  • Coordinate wastewater treatment procedures and town reporting with QA.

Nashua, NH | Full‑Time | Weekly Pay

$22$32/hour (based on experience)

First and third shift openings

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you would support the reliability and performance of our manufacturing equipment and facility operations. This role focuses on mechanical troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair in a fast-paced production setting.

You’ll work alongside experienced technicians to keep production running safely and efficiently, while building your technical skills.

This is a hands-on, long‑term role. We offer competitive pay, and growth opportunity.

How you will make an impact:

Our Maintenance Technicians perform tasks related to the installation, modification, design, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and machinery. This includes working with presses, coaters, slitters, wastewater systems, thermal oxidizers, HVAC units, and other support equipment.

  • Learn the manufacturing process and its equipment to fully understand equipment functionality needs.
  • Support manufacturing equipment needs in both a proactive and reactive function with the main objective of minimizing machine downtime.
  • Maintain the inside and outside of the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform preventive maintenance program tasks with production and engineering personnel.
  • Coordinate the wastewater treatment plant procedures and schedules to best accommodate the production demands and town reporting requirements with QA.
  • Be willing to serve on the Manufacturing team, the Safety Committee and/or be a designated contract person for security and fire alarm response, if needed.
Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:

Required:

  • High school diploma or commensurate experience.
  • 2-5 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or mechanical field. Recently degreed students with related course work and some OTJ will be considered.
  • Ability to perform physical demands of each of the job responsibilities.
  • Ability to read, write, keep neat and accurate records, and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
