LCB Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Assistant at The Residence at Melrose Station in Melrose, MA. The role is full-time with a Wednesday–Sunday 10:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule, offering a wage band of $22.00–$24.00 per hour based on experience.

Responsibilities include routine maintenance, cleaning, and coordinating with vendors to keep the residence safe and well-maintained. Qualification highlights include a high school diploma or GED, 4+ years maintenance experience (healthcare preferred),

Qualifications

• Knowledge of maintenance functions and safety regulations (OSHA, local codes).
• Ability to organize maintenance needs and coordinate with vendors.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 4+ years maintenance experience, healthcare preferred.
• HVAC certificate preferred; valid drivers license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair of residence equipment.
• Maintain grounds and building in safe, sound condition.
• Clean resident rooms and common areas.
• Work with outside vendors/contractors as needed.
• Replace light bulbs and assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Follow safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
