Job summary

Riverside Community Care is seeking a Maintenance Specialist I to support upkeep, safety, and functionality across program locations. This full-time, hands-on role involves repairs, outdoor maintenance, and assisting with renovation projects in a collaborative environment.

The position offers a daytime schedule (with occasional Saturdays) and requires a dependable, quality-focused individual who can contribute to a team focused on supporting community programs.

Qualifications

• Basic building maintenance skills including painting, carpentry, and minor plumbing.
• Comfort with outdoor maintenance such as gutter cleaning and landscaping.
• Ability to assist with larger renovation projects and after-hours on-call.

Responsibilities

• perform basic building repairs, including painting, wall and window repair, minor plumbing repairs, general carpentry, and lighting and air conditioner replacement.
• perform outside maintenance as needed, including gutter cleaning, brush removal, and bush trimming.
• assist with larger maintenance and renovation projects.
• perform general landscaping at residential and commercial sites as needed, including mowing, raking, mulching, seasonal planting, and power washing buildings and other surfaces.
• assist with larger landscape design projects and perform shoveling of walks, driveways, and other areas as needed
• assume additional responsibilities consistent with organizational needs.

We are seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Specialist I to support the upkeep, safety, and functionality of our program locations.

This is a great full-time opportunity for a hands‑on professional who takes pride in quality work, enjoys solving problems, and is eager to build on their skills in a collaborative environment.

As a Maintenance Specialist I, you will:

• perform basic building repairs, including painting, wall and window repair, minor plumbing repairs, general carpentry, and lighting and air conditioner replacement.

• perform outside maintenance as needed, including gutter cleaning, brush removal, and bush trimming.

• assist with larger maintenance and renovation projects.

• perform general landscaping at residential and commercial sites as needed, including mowing, raking, mulching, seasonal planting, and power washing buildings and other surfaces.

• assist with larger landscape design projects and perform shoveling of walks, driveways, and other areas as needed

• assume additional responsibilities consistent with organizational needs.

Schedule: Full-Time - Monday through Friday 6:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. with occasional Saturdays as needed; participation in a weekly rotating schedule to provide after-hours emergency on-call service

Pay Rate: $24.95/hour
