You will follow safety protocols, document actions, and contribute to continuous improvement with colleagues across teams. Base pay is $26.50–$30.68 per hour plus a $1.00 shift premium; position is 100% on-site in a shop environment.

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Specialist to join our 3rd Shift team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN .

Job Summary:

Performs skilled activities which support manufacturing business needs. Selects and uses appropriate tools, machinery and specialty equipment. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Experience:

• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
• Candidates must possess direct experience in Maintenance of various CNC machines, Forging presses, Furnaces, SPM, Robots etc. The candidate must exhibit a thorough understanding of hydraulic systems, mechanical drawings, CNC machine architecture and maintenance technique.
• Familiarity with forging presses and billet heating systems is essential.
• Firsthand experience with Fanuc robots is considered an added advantage.
• Adherence to safety norms and guidelines.

Base Rate: $26.50 - $30.68/hr
