DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented Machining Technician to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Morristown, TN.

Job Summary

Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways

Education, Licenses, Certifications
  • High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.

Experience
  • Requires some work experience or intermediate level knowledge obtained through education, training or on‑the‑job experience.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience operating CNC machines (1 to 3 years) (Very Important to be successful in this role)
  • Ability to read blueprints.
  • Familiarity with measuring instruments.
  • Basic math skills (decimals, fractions, tolerances)
  • Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
