Job summary

Litehouse is seeking a passionate Maintenance Specialist to join our team. You will ensure efficient operation and upkeep of machinery in a manufacturing setting, performing advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance across mechanical systems.

You will collaborate with the maintenance, production, and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance, maintain records, and provide guidance to junior staff while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• 7+ years' experience in an advanced maintenance role, with a focus on troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vocational or technical training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the evaluation of maintenance procedures and initiates changes to optimize the maintenance program.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems.
• Analyze and perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on a variety of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to motors, conveyors, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
• Execute preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment.
• Collaborate with maintenance team members to address complex issues and support larger maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance.
• Utilize technical manuals, blueprints, and diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of equipment manuals, schematics, and maintenance logs.
• Provide detailed reports on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and recommendations for improvements.
• Recommend upgrades or modifications to extend the lifespan of machinery.
• Provide guidance and training to junior maintenance staff or other relevant personnel.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Identify and report potential safety hazards and contribute to the development of safety procedures.
• Must be able to work scheduled shifts and meet attendance requirements.

What you will do

• Know all the plant specific equipment and be able to independently resolve issues.
• Fill in for duties of Maintenance Supervisor and Maintenance Manager
• Lead and direct plant maintenance
