Join to apply for the Maintenance Shift Supervisor - 7AM to 7PM + Weekends role at Charter Aarrowcast.

This is an onsite position located in Shawano, WI. Relocation assistance is available.

Weekly Schedule: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Weekly plant shutdown: Begins Fridays at 6:00 AM and ends Mondays at 6:00 AM.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Shift Supervisor maintains production equipment, building, grounds, and manages purchase of related materials and services. They recommend optimal maintenance strategies, supervise preventative maintenance, and coordinate workflow with vendors, engineering, and maintenance projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure availability of parts and materials for production equipment.
  • Investigate and resolve equipment problems, recommend corrective actions.
  • Maintain equipment, facilities, and manage procurement.
  • Propose new equipment or processes for efficiency improvements.
  • Train employees on equipment and safety protocols.
  • Suggest improvements for plant layout and facilitate equipment movement.
  • Prepare management reports as needed.
  • Stay updated on industry developments.
  • Exercise judgment in maintaining, repairing, and modifying equipment.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive data.
  • Utilize personal computers, tools, and measuring equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in compliance with environmental, quality, and safety standards.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree in STEM or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years electromechanical experience in manufacturing.
  • Previous supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of maintenance technology, blueprint reading, machine repair, hydraulics, welding, and pipe fitting.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM.
  • Experience in foundry or metals industry.
  • Experience with CMMS or ERP systems.
  • CMRP Certification.
  • Leadership training and experience managing departmental costs.
