Perform preventative maintenance checks and routine service on all equipment.
All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products. Obtain preventative maintenance on equipment as required by preventative maintenance program. Scheduled maintenance includes: change oil and filters, grease rolling stock, production equipment and electrical motor bearing, change fuel and air filters, inspect antifreeze base in coolant system and power steering fluid levels, inspect oil level for transmission, rear end and gear cases. Perform daily maintenance checks on equipment as it becomes available each workday. Daily maintenance checks include: inspect oil and coolant levels, inspect air filters, grease rollers, drive chains and feed screws, inspect batteries and tire pressures, check power steering and hydraulic fluid levels. Drain and clean air tanks and inspect air lines, document reading from metered equipment on daily checklist(s).
Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
