Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with locations across the southeastern United States. This role focuses on maintaining and repairing a wide range of plant machinery, from engines to production equipment, ensuring reliable operations and safety.

The technician will diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems, order parts, and support overall plant maintenance. A GED or high school diploma is required, with a strong emphasis on safety and quality in daily

Responsabilités

• Follow safety and quality rules to maintain a safe, high-quality work environment.
• Inspect machines to diagnose sources of trouble.
• Dismantle machines and reassemble when needed.
• Replace broken or worn parts and order replacements as required.
• Adjust systems to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain building structures and equipment including electrical and plumbing components.
• Repair or overhaul engines, including pistons, bearings, and carburetors; service transmissions and fuel systems.

Summary of Primary Functions: Maintain and repair all machinery or mechanical equipment in the plant. This job requires a broad range of experience on various types of equipment including automobiles, tractors, cranes, trailers, production machinery, Travelift, loaders, pick up trucks, lift trucks, etc. Also, includes knowledge of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, heating, air conditioning and sanitary systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
• Examine machines and mechanical equipment to diagnose source of trouble.
• Dismantle machines and reassemble if necessary.
• Replace broken and work out parts.
• Order replacement parts if required.
• Make all necessary adjustments to ensure proper operation.
• Keep in good repair the building structures and equipment including electrical switches, fixtures, motors, occasional painting or touching up structures or equipment, repairing plumbing fixtures, etc.
• Repair, rebuild, or overhaul internal combustion engines including replacement of piston rings, bearings, or other engine parts; grinding and adjusting valves; rebuilding carburetors, etc.
• Overhaul transmissions, repair fuel injection, lighting and ignition systems.

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
