Job Description

The Service Manager is responsible for delivering service and sales to their assigned region. The role manages Service Technicians, sub-contractors, vendors, and customers. The position oversees all incoming repair requests and preventative maintenance jobs from customers. The Service Manager is responsible for scheduling, estimating, Service Technician management/training, and customer development. The Service Manager develops and maintains relationships with customers and ensures the quality of work and adherence to customer-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are met.

Essential Job Functions
  1. Manage and oversee all incoming repair requests and preventive maintenance jobs assigned to customers.
  2. Manage Service Technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
  3. Comply with customers’ priority matrix and service level requirements.
  4. Manage designated budgets to meet financial expectations.
  5. Ensure timely proposal submissions to customers.
  6. Prepare estimates including time and materials for large scopes of work requiring return trips.
  7. Evaluate Technician performance.
  8. Ensure safety rules, regulations, and incident reporting are followed.
  9. Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and Skills
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Strong technical knowledge in General Building, Plumbing, Electrical, and HVAC/Refrigeration trades.
  3. Ability to interpret architectural plans and specifications.
  4. Positive customer focus, considering the impact on our customers and theirs.
  5. Ability to interact with a diverse customer base.
  6. Consideration of cost/benefit analysis.
  7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  8. Attention to detail, creative problem-solving, and analytical skills.

  16. Possess or obtain a valid state driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record.

KDC offers a competitive salary range of $73,000 to $94,000 per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees:
