The role requires responding to emergencies and coordinating with private entities as needed. The position offers a salary range from $57,614 to $93,138 per year, with full-time hours and a 40-hour work

Qualifications

• 6 years of roadway maintenance or construction experience.
• Substitutions for minimum qualifications allowed with college education or technical training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in budgeting for the section.
• Oversee section and contracted crews including scheduling equipment, materials and personnel.
• Plan and coordinate emergency responses to inclement weather, accidents, and hazards.
• Ensure projects follow safety guidelines.
• Inspect road conditions and work progress.
• Lead transportation maintenance crews and staff.
• Operate light and heavy roadway equipment as needed.
• Maintain operational coverage in supervisor's absence.
