Responsibilities

• Evaluate maintenance work order load and schedule work using planning software.
• Re-prioritize scheduled work in response to emergencies and parts availability.
• Develop and update predictive, preventive and condition-based maintenance programs.
• Maintain data records and files of work performed and costs.
• Develop and maintain backlog of ready work orders for mechanics.
• Generate and update PM schedules and adjust as needed.
• Run and distribute monthly open item reports.
• Create work orders with accurate information (equipment numbers, classifications, etc.).
• Work in compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Other duties as assigned.

PRIMARYFUNCTION:

Primarilyresponsibleforcreating,planningandschedulingmaintenanceworkorders.Performsallworkincompliancewithcompany policies, NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and local, state and federal policies, laws and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIESANDTASKS:

• Underminimalsupervision,evaluatemaintenanceworkorderloadandscheduleworkusingplanningsoftwarefordaily, weekly or longer term to maximize efficiency and enhance productivity
• Re-prioritizescheduledworkinresponsetoemergencies,availabilityofparts,andequipmenttomakeefficientuseof maintenance team member time
• Participateindevelopingandupdatingpredictive,preventativeandcondition-basedmaintenanceprogramsandcriteriafor installed operational equipment; reviews criteria and participates in monitoring and evaluating effectiveness
• Maintaindatarecordsandfilesofworkperformed,cost,etcforeffectiveanalysis
• Developandmaintainbacklogofreadyworkordersformechanics
• Generateandupdateequipmentpreventativemaintenance(PM)schedules,adjustingasneededtomeetchanging conditions (i.e. run times, production schedules, etc)
• Runanddistributemonthlyopenitemreportverifyingallopenitemsareuptodate
• Createworkorders(W/O)ensuringallrequiredinformation(i.e.equipmentnumbers,maintenanceclassifications,budget item, shut down requirements, etc.) are accurate
