Ecobat is seeking a Maintenance Planner to organize preventive maintenance projects, schedule workloads, and optimize the use of labor, parts, and equipment. The role requires coordinating with stores, unions, and operations to ensure accurate estimates and timely execution.
Key responsibilities include maintaining CMMS driven work orders, producing weekly schedules, and supporting safety and quality initiatives while communicating clearly with the workforce to promote efficiency and reliability.
The function of this position is to plan and schedule maintenance projects while considering labor, parts, and machinery availability. This position is also responsible for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of preventive maintenance (PM) work by continuously evaluating PM instructions, procedures, and work requirements.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is frequently required to use their hands to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools, or controls and to reach with their hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required for this position include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to extreme heat. The employee may occasionally work at elevated heights or in outside weather conditions and may be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical hazards, and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is typically very loud. Employees must be able to properly wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
