Job summary

ReadyOne Industries is seeking a Maintenance Repairman to support facility upkeep and equipment maintenance across our production areas. The role covers carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, welding, HVAC, and forklift maintenance to ensure safe operations.

The ideal candidate holds a high school diploma or GED and brings at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, with valid driver's license and forklift certification. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance or related experience.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, welding, and general building repairs required.
• Valid Driver’s License and Forklift Certification required.
• Basic communication skills; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and execute company policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement across all operational processes.
• Inspect building and production areas regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues inside and outside the facility in a timely and effective manner.
• Perform repairs including drywall, flooring, plumbing, electrical, welding, and carpentry as needed.
• Operate and monitor HVAC systems including turning units on and off as required and ensuring proper function.
• Support special projects and complete outstanding maintenance tasks as assigned.
• Assist groundskeeping and custodial teams as needed or requested.
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility systems to minimize unplanned downtime.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures consistently.

POSITION SUMMARYThe Maintenance Repairman plays a pivotal role in supporting ReadyOne Industries’ mission and the AbilityOne program by performing general maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of buildings and production areas through a broad range of maintenance tasks including carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, welding, HVAC systems, and forklift maintenance.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Adhere to and execute company policies and procedures while driving continuous improvement across all operational processes. Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.REPORTING STRUCTUREThe Maintenance Repairman reports directly to the Supervisor Maintenance & Custodial and works closely with the maintenance team, groundskeepers, custodial staff, and production supervisors to support facility upkeep, equipment maintenance, and safe operational conditions across ReadyOne Industries’ facilities.MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTSEducation High School Diploma or GED preferred, but not required.Experience Minimum of three (3) years of industrial maintenance or related experience required; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with electrical, plumbing, welding, and general building repairs required. Valid Driver’s License and Forklift Certification required. Basic communication skills required; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.PHYSICAL DEMANDS Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift materials throughout the shift. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Work performed both indoors and outdoors with exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions.
