About the Opportunity:
HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting for skilled CNC Maintenance Repair Technicians to support our client a global leader in power management and intelligent transportation solutions at their Syracuse, NY manufacturing facility. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative team on 2nd shift, maintaining and troubleshooting advanced CNC equipment in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on CNC machinery
Disassemble machines, replace or rebuild damaged components, and reassemble to meet safety and operational standards
Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot complex machine cycles and electrical faults using schematics and technical manuals
Test electrical systems, including printed circuit boards, using appropriate diagnostic tools
Interpret complex ladder logic, control systems, and circuit diagrams
Communicate technical issues or unusual findings to supervisors promptly
Support additional mechanical or electrical duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment (mechanical and electrical)
Proficiency with ladder logic, industrial motor controls, and reading blueprints
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
Must reside within 50 miles of Syracuse, NY
Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with CNC maintenance
Familiarity with machining processes and electrical systems
Associate degree in Electronics or relevant military electronics training
Knowledge of hydraulic systems
2 - 5 years of relevant maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
