Position Summary: Responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of diesel-powered, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on heavy equipment used in a busy shipping terminal. This position helps ensure terminal equipment operates safely, reliably, and efficiently with minimal downtime.
Typical equipment may include diesel-powered cargo-handling and terminal equipment such as container handlers, reach stackers, forklifts, yard tractors, loaders, and other heavy mobile equipment.
