Job summary

Jackson Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Maintenance Assistant/Remodeling Assistant to support the care center’s facilities in Georgia. The role involves performing standard maintenance tasks and small remodeling projects under the direction of the Maintenance Director.

The ideal candidate has basic wiring, plumbing and carpentry knowledge; previous LTC experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be 18+ and eligible to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Prior LTC experience preferred (not required).
• Must be 18 years or older to work at any facility.
• High school Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing and carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Follows direction of the director or supervisor.
• Painting, wall repair, and small remodeling projects.
• Keeps building and grounds clean, safe and orderly.
• Maintains basic center functions as directed by Maintenance Director.
• Takes care of tools and equipment.
