Job summary

Douglasville Center for Nursing and Healing is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our facility safe, clean, and functional for residents and staff.

You will perform routine tasks and light repairs, manage tools, and assist with HVAC-related duties while upholding a compassionate, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic wiring, plumbing, and carpentry knowledge.
• Willingness to learn and contribute.
• LTC experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, and orderliness of buildings and grounds.
• Maintain and repair basic functions of the center.
• Manage tools and equipment such as HVAC filters, conducting minor repairs as needed.
• Provide exceptional service to customers, families and employees in a compassionate environment.

Requirements for Maintenance Assistant:

• Previous experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) is preferred, but not required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of wiring, plumbing, and carpentry
• A strong willingness to learn and contribute to our team
