Job summary

Hedy Holmes Staffing Services seeks an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability in a three-shift manufacturing environment. You will manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs, oversee capital projects and budgets, and develop the technical capabilities of the maintenance team to meet production targets.

You will partner with production managers and other departments to drive improvements, strengthen safety culture, reduce downtime, and ensure equipment

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience leading and developing technical maintenance teams.
• Experience supervising or leading industrial mechanics, electricians, controls technicians, and maintenance supervisors.
• Strong experience with CMMS systems and asset reliability management.
• Knowledge of preventative and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, work-order management, and parts management.
• Strong industrial equipment troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing capital projects, budgets, contractors, and maintenance expenses.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance and reliability programs using a CMMS.
• Develop PM and predictive maintenance programs.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, work orders, parts inventory, and records.
• Monitor equipment reliability and identify downtime reduction opportunities.
• Partner with production and other departments to drive improvements.
• Lead projects to improve safety, reduce costs, increase reliability, and improve quality.
• Manage capital projects from development to completion including budgets and scheduling.
• Develop engineering and maintenance personnel capabilities.
• Lead, train, coach, and develop maintenance staff.
• Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Provide training for new equipment, methods, and systems.
• Manage budgets for capital, labor, parts, contractors, and expenses.
• Lead cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
• Monitor and support KPIs and production targets.
• Support troubleshooting and problem-solving in daily operations.
• Support environmental initiatives and energy conservation.
• Identify and share maintenance best practices.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
