Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and engineering operations for a 24/7 specialty metals manufacturing site in Buffalo. The role owns capital projects, safety compliance and asset reliability, reporting to the General Manager.

You will supervise maintenance supervisors and automation engineers, drive the automation strategy, manage the maintenance budget and ensure NADCAP and other certifications are maintained, enabling consistent, high uptime in a demanding production

Qualifications

• 5+ years of maintenance management or supervisory experience.
• 10 years in an industrial setting.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, 24 hour manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance supervisors and automation engineers, owning maintenance processes, new installations and equipment improvements
• Develop and manage capital investment and automation strategy, including project scope, schedule, budget and risk
• Own plant wide safety compliance across mobile equipment, crane safety, arc flash and fire protection programs
• Apply root cause analysis and reliability centered maintenance principles to drive continuous asset reliability improvement
• Prepare and manage the annual maintenance operating budget
• Troubleshoot complex integrated electrical, mechanical and hydraulic equipment hands on
• Maintain NADCAP and other required certifications across the maintenance function
