Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Maintenance / Reliability Engineer in Scranton, PA to own reliability on automated can production lines and lead root cause analysis. The role focuses on preventive maintenance planning and documentation, coordinating technicians and suppliers, and ensuring consistent production with strong team support.

Qualifications

Maintenance / Reliability Engineer

Scranton, Pennsylvania (Commutable from: Wilkes-Barre, Pittston, Clarks Summit, Carbondale, Honesdale, Dickson City)
Are you a Maintenance Engineer, Reliability Engineer or Maintenance Planner looking for a stable, days-based role with a well-established manufacturer where you will be properly supported by a strong team and clear processes?
This is a permanent, Monday–Friday position where you will take ownership of equipment reliability on highly automated production lines, working alongside skilled technicians who handle the hands-on maintenance while you focus on planning, root cause analysis, documentation and continuous improvement.
You will be joining a global manufacturer known for excellent technology, strong employee tenure and a fast-moving environment with minimal red tape, where good performance is recognized and people are rewarded for getting results.
As a result of a restructure and continued growth, they are now looking to add a third Maintenance Engineer to strengthen reliability, improve preventative maintenance plans and keep production running at its best.

The Role

• Own reliability and performance of highly automated can production lines
• Develop and update preventive/predictive maintenance plans and technical documentation
• Lead root cause analysis on breakdowns and coordinate technicians, vendors and specialists
• Manage spare parts, inventory levels and supplier/OEM correspondence
• Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

The Person

• Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering related) with a strong mechanical mindset
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing covering reliability / maintenance planning / parts & inventory
• Comfortable reading engineering drawings and working with Excel and maintenance data (SAP a plus)
