Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Limited seeks a Maintenance & Reliability Engineer for our client in Scranton, PA. The role focuses on owning the reliability of highly automated production lines and developing preventative maintenance strategies.

You will lead root cause analysis, coordinate technicians and contractors, and manage spare parts and vendors to improve equipment performance. This is a Monday–Friday, on-site position in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with maintenance planning, reliability, parts/inventory management or similar.
• Able to read engineering drawings and perform root cause analysis, using Excel and maintenance data.

Responsibilities

• Own the reliability and performance of automated production lines.
• Develop and update preventative maintenance strategies and plans.
• Lead root cause analysis and troubleshooting, coordinating technicians and contractors.
• Manage spare parts, inventory and vendors, identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
• Work Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.

Are you a Maintenance or Reliability Engineer looking for a days-based role where you can take ownership of equipment reliability within a highly automated manufacturing environment?

Do you have a strong mechanical mindset and experience with keeping high-speed production equipment running at its best?

This is a permanent, Monday-Friday role where you’ll take ownership of the reliability of automated production lines, working alongside skilled technicians who handle the hands-on maintenance.

You’ll be joining a well-established global manufacturer operating some of the most advanced and highly automated production lines in the industry, with strong employee tenure, excellent technology and a fast-moving environment with minimal red tape.

This role would suit a Maintenance or Reliability Engineer from a fast-paced manufacturing environment who wants to develop their engineering career while having genuine ownership over equipment performance and reliability.

The Role:

• Owning the reliability and performance of highly automated production lines
• Developing and updating preventative maintenance strategies and plans
• Leading root cause analysis and troubleshooting, coordinating technicians and specialist contractors when required
• Managing spare parts, inventory and vendors, while identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability
• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

The Person:

• Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering-related field
• Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a strong mechanical mindset
• Experience with maintenance planning, reliability, parts/inventory management or similar
• Able to read engineering drawings, carry out root cause analysis and work confidently with Excel and maintenance data
