Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reliability strategies to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis on equipment failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
  • Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and maintenance practices.
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Determine best maintenance practices for specific pieces of equipment.
  • Generate and utilize Pareto Charts to identify and analyze equipment failures to prioritize maintenance functions and equipment improvements.
  • Conduct risk assessment and implement risk mitigation methodologies (FMECA & RCM).
  • Be responsible for the reliability and failure minimization of all equipment at the plant.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams consisting of Maintenance Managers, Process Engineers, Supervisors, Operators, and Maintenance Technicians, using RCM, FMEA, and other methodologies.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in maintenance reliability engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reliability analysis tools and techniques (e.g., FMEA, RCA, RCM).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in maintenance and reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certification in reliability engineering (e.g., Certified Reliability Engineer).
  • Experience with predictive maintenance technologies and software.
  • Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
