Job summary

VVI Staffing Consultants is seeking an Engineer in Indiana to support major capital projects and drive maintenance reliability. You will design and roll out preventive programs to boost production and reduce downtime, while implementing cost-saving strategies across the plant.

The role emphasizes safety, standard procedures, and operator training to sustain improvements and ensure long-term equipment performance. A strong technical background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Experience implementing continuous improvement and reliability in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Develop and roll out reliability and preventative maintenance programs to increase production and decrease downtime.
• Improve operational efficiency by performing root cause analysis and determining corrective actions.
• Write standard operating procedures and support operator training to ensure safety and prevent equipment breakage.
• Research and implement long-range solutions for materials, tooling and equipment for OEE and cost savings.
• Develop strategies to upgrade maintenance systems, risk management methodologies, and lifecycle asset management processes.
