Job summary

Danone U.S. is seeking a Maintenance & Reliability Technical Director based in Dallas, Texas to lead engineering, maintenance, purchasing, infrastructure and controls, coordinating technical resources to ensure orders are met, production schedules stay on track, and costs and safety are optimized.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's in Engineering (Advanced degree preferred), 8–10+ years in food manufacturing, and proven ability to manage multi-site capital projects, TPM programs and CMMS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; advanced degree preferred.
8+ years operational and management experience in food manufacturing; 10+ years preferred.
Formal project management training or certifications preferred.
Experience leading and managing technical disciplines and budgets across multiple sites.
Must be a highly effective program and capital project manager with complex initiatives across sites.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership for Engineering, Maintenance, Purchasing, Infrastructure, Controls, and other technical functions.
Lead the development and execution of the site technical master plan, including capital projects.
Drive reliability strategies to improve safety, quality, productivity and plant performance.
Direct capital project execution from concept to startup.
Champion compliance with GMP, safety and regulatory programs.
Identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities across cost structures.
Manage technical budgets and resources to meet site priorities.
Build capability through coaching and talent development.
Foster a high-performance culture and cross-functional collaboration.
Partner with HR and labor relations to support a unionized workforce.
