Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Clerk in Memphis, TN to support the maintenance department with accurate documentation, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance activities.

The role focuses on logging and prioritizing work orders, maintaining records of repairs and inspections, and ensuring clear communication between technicians, management, and other departments to minimize downtime and support reliable facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree preferred.
• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, parts room management, or related maintenance support preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
• Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
• Ability to develop systems, procedures, and workflows independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with inventory management systems, ERP systems, or CMMS software preferred.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize MicroMain CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Manage and document maintenance work orders and schedules.
• Coordinate between technicians, management, and other departments to prioritize maintenance requests.
• Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and parts usage to support reliability and safety.
• Act as liaison with vendors and outside teams to ensure timely communication and execution.
