Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Maintenance Quality Assurance Monitor to support the collection, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of audit data from MV service providers. Responsibilities include monthly vehicle audits, inspection of fleet records, and ensuring contract and SOP adherence.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of diesel repair experience (bus/truck), ASE certification preferred, and a valid driver’s license with ability to obtain Class B CDL.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years diesel repair experience (bus/truck) as A or B tech.
  • ASE certification in two or more areas preferred; experience in preventive maintenance, brakes or related areas.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Class B CDL with P endorsement; no air brake restriction.
  • Excellent customer service skills; clean motor vehicle report (MVR).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work in a team or independently.
  • Knowledge of local training programs and local operations; familiarity with project vehicles and data systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform monthly vehicle audit inspections of 20% of equipment by division.
  • Inspect files, fleet records, training records, DVIRs and related documentation.
  • Use inspection forms and check-off sheets; verify contract and SOP adherence.
  • Conduct facility inspections including Hazmat, MSDS, SPCC as assigned.
  • Document findings in Excel or Word; track quality findings and prepare concise checklists.
  • Assist in preparing administrative, compliance, and ad-hoc reports.
  • Support generation of statistical reports, presentations, and other quality communications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

MV Transportation is seeking aMaintenance Quality Assurance Monitorto support the collection, maintenance, analysis, and reporting of audit data from various MV service Providers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly vehicle audit inspections of 20% of the following equipment by division:
    • Support Vehicles
    • Revenue fleet
    • Vehicle equipment
  • Preform inspection of: files, fleet records, fluid sample records and sampling procedures, training records, fleet watch records, and DVIR records.
  • Utilize inspection forms, procedures and check off sheets.
  • Inspect for: contract adherence, SOP adherence, training adherence, safety and OSHA adherence.
  • Preform facility inspections to include: Hazmat, MSDS, SPCC, others as assigned.
  • Utilize computer for documenting findings via excel or word spread sheets.
  • Periodic or unscheduled monitoring of the performance of MV services based upon established Quality Assurance plan and Contract standards.
  • Data collection activities, processes, and procedures.
  • Track and monitor open quality findings and discrepancies and ensure corrective actions.Prepare accurate and concise checklists to include deficiencies and findings.
  • Assist in preparing administrative, compliance, and numerous ad-hoc reports.
  • Support the generation statistical reports, presentations, graphics, forms, and other documents to communicate Quality information.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Talent Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years’ experience or more in diesel repair preferably bus and or truck serving as an A or B tech.
  • Prefer ASE certification in two (2) or more areas with experience in preventative maintenance, brakes systems and or a combination of training and experience in these areas.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Class B CDL with P endorsement and no air brake restriction.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Clean motor vehicle report.
  • Ability to work equally in a team environment and individually.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of local training program and local operations.
  • Knowledge of project specific vehicles, components and data/communications systems.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work with all departments.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively delegate tasks and provide appropriate supervision and follow up to department staff.

Starting Wage Range: $44 - $48/hr

Starting Pay Rate:$44 - $48/hr
