Job summary

Metallus Inc. seeks a Purchasing & Inventory Specialist for the Maintenance Department at the St. Clair Plant in Ohio. You will manage purchasing, place orders, track open orders, and coordinate vendor activities to support production.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or equivalent with 3 years of data entry, strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word), data analysis, and inventory management. Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems (Maximo, SAP) is a plus. Relocation is not offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 3 years of data entry experience required.
• Experience with MS Office and data analysis is essential.
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing processes for the Maintenance Department at St. Clair.
• Place orders and track open orders to completion.
• Coordinate vendor service activities once contracted.
• Identify opportunities for purchasing pattern improvements.
• Ensure purchasing aligns with plant and corporate policies.
